Pradeep Kannan is the founder of The Falooda Shop, a dessert-first QSR brand rooted in Indian flavours and built for a global audience. After over a decade in leadership roles at Oracle, he chose to step away in 2019 to reimagine falooda as a modern, premium and franchise-ready concept.

What started as a small 10×10 ft kiosk in Karur has today grown into 18+ outlets across India and Dubai, driven by strong unit economics, consistent products and a brand-first approach to expansion. Under his leadership, the brand has evolved beyond classic desserts into layered indulgences, drinkable faloodas and Worlds First Ready To Eat Falooda In a Can (A D2C- Product) made for today’s urban lifestyle focussing Millennials & Gen-Zs.
Today, his focus is clear: To build The Falooda Shop into a globally recognised Indian dessert brand - driven by strong franchise partnerships and long-term category leadership.
